4-axis Multicomponent Rotating Transducer
4 — axis-multicomponent rotating transducer measures cutting force and torque (Fx, Fy forces, Fz axial force, Mz torque and rotation speed). There are some additional control parametrs like as bending mometns Mx and My. There are two versions of the transducer. The first one is Fx-Fy=10kN, Fz=40kN, Mz=100Hm. The second is Fx-Fy=25kN, Fz=50kN, Mz=200Nm. The max measured rotation speed is 5000rpm. This transducer allows to control and manage the cutting force during the drilling, milling and boring processes.
Data Transfer from the Large Rotary Shaft
How to transfer the measured data from the propeller blade or the turbine. Our engeneers develop the Telemetry System TT033/5 to transfer the measured data via the rotating shaft with the diametr 210mm. The Telemetry System TT033/5 provides the conditioning, amplification and wireless transmission to the PC up to 23 parallel strain gage bridges (half-bridges) signals from the rotating propeller parts. The Telemetry System TT033/5 takes measurements of relative strain, vibrations, torque and bending moments, forces and other parameters with the strain gauge technology. The inner stator diametr is 210mm. The max outside rotor diametr is 315mm. The width is 71mm. The scope of supply includes stator, rotor, measuring unit, special software and connecting supply. The measuring unit allows to display the measured data and transfer them via the USB interface to the PC.
Contra-rotating Fan Study with the TT033 Telemetry System
Today, the calculating methods are actively used to study the stress-strain state (SSS) parts and assemblies structures of the aviation gas turbine engines (GTE). These methods allow to simulate virtually any shape of the object, various conditions of external influence. The accuracy of the calculations is very high and it allows to predict the reliability and durability of the parts with high probability. However, the design conditions not always assign the actual conditions of loading. It is not easy to take into account all the conditions and mechanisms of loading in the real world. So, the experimental evaluation of SSS is a mandatory requirement by such researches and tests. One of the main methods of determining the SSS of the contra-rotating fan is the strain gauge telemetry. The ordinary telemetry systems include a strain gauge fixed to the propeller blade, an amplifier and a recorder. The TILKOM’s non-contact telemetry system for strain gauges TT033 is used for contactless transmission of the signal from the strain gauge located at the rotating blade and its following converting. The telemetry system TT033 consists of a rotor, a stator, a measuring unit and the analogue decoder. The rotor with the connected sensors is fixed on the rotating part. The stator is mounted inside the rotor and is fixed on the shaft or the housing of the object. On the surface of the stator are coils. They feed the rotor and transmit the desired signal. The air gap between the stator and the rotor is 1.5 mm.
Torque Transducer from a Shaft
The real operating loads of the transmission elements need to be considered during their constructional design. The M40-25k/90mm is designed as a part of a shaft. Its advantages are contactless power supply and wide frequency measuring range, air gap of 4 mm between theamplifier-transmitter and the receiver, direct PC connection for displaying torque, rotation speed and mechanical power. Construction. Strain gauges are glued directly on the shaft body and connected to the amplifier-transmitter, fixed in a loop strap on the shaft. The receiver encircles it with the parallel clearance and the minimal axial displacement. There can be analogue (±10) and digital output signal. The software allo ws you to connect up to four transducers.
Torque measurements with electrical balance machines
There are several ways of torque measurements. One of them is with a torque transducer and another one is using a force transducer and a level. The first way is precise but the second is cheap. Thus the second way is greatly applied in electric motor balancing machines. The TILKOM measuring system consists of the ST type force transducer and the display unit T40.012. These enables the level length to be specified and data to be obtained in torque measurement quantities (N·m.). A speed transducer and special software are also available.
Single-channel telemetry TT01-3522 for measuring of strain gauge signals on tractor shafts
The single-channel telemetry TT01-3522 was utilized for measuring of torque with strain gauge technique in the tractor half axles directly within the housing. The power supply is provided by an air transformer.
Telemetry TT033 for aircraft engineering
The Telemetry TT033is designed to the wireless transmission of strain gauge and potentiometric signals from rotating shafts of the aircraft engineering. It can be used for: recording the dynamic bending and torque moment on the rotor shaft, strain detection on rotor blades, vibration and force measurements on rotor blades.

It gives you a «stop-motion effect» at the needed state for detailed research. A stroboscope consists of 4 elements: an electronic control unit, a lamp, a gear ring and a rotation speed transducer.

If you need to measure several parameters simultaneously, use multi-component transducers, e. g. M40-100/500. It measures torque and axial force. M40-100/500 is connected to a PC via the USB port. The appropriate software is in the scope of supply.

Torque transducers for work in vacuum under low temperature conditions
TheThe operating temperature range of a torque transducer is about — 40
+600C. However the task to measure torque by the temperature — 1000C in vacuum may occur. TILKOM have designed the special torque transducer M41E for work in vacuum by — 1000C. The M41E has a built-in heating element that automatically supports the fixed temperature. The operating temperature is controlled by the built-in temperature sensor.
Non-contact power supply of SG bridge with air transformer TB01
Non-contact measuring devices require wireless power supply. It may be done with a battery or an air transformer (e.g. TB01). The TILKOM’s TB01 air transformer consists of a stator, a rotating coil and an adapter. The rotating coil is made according to the shaft dimensions.
